We had our basement finished by Roots in just 6 weeks, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! From the beginning, we were blown away by their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail. Their bid was incredibly thorough and broken down so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Even the way they cleaned our basement before handing it back to us was impressive. The entire process felt more like a five star experience checking into a luxury resort than dealing with a typical contractor. We couldn’t recommend Roots enough!

Noah does great work.

Very good service and Professional

Excellent service, well managed. Outstanding and transparent scheduling and communication!

Noah and his team are the best. Such an easy process from beginning to end. The entire process was completed from long distance. The communication was clear and concise from day one. I was provided timelines and costs up front and updates throughout. Pictures, videos and regular texts/phone calls to discuss any suggestions or changes that might be needed. When it came time to see the work in person…I was more impressed than I expected. The transformation from bear bone basement to what we have now was incredible.

Roots has consistently been the most professional contractor I’ve ever worked with. Their advice helped us achieve a basement that exceeded our expectations. They are clean, professional, and reliable.

Noah and Lee came out to our house to give us a quote. They showed up on time and were very thorough with their assessment of the basement and even brought up ideas and issues that we hadnt thought about. They also gave us ranges of options to stay within our budget as well as more upgraded options. We didn't end up using them just because they were a little more backed up with work and we were eager to get our basement finished, but if the timing lined up more to our needs, we would definitely use them because I had confidence that they would do the job right.

We had such a great experience getting our basement finished! If you’re looking for a basement contractor in Salem, Utah or anywhere in Utah County, I would definitely recommend Roots Basements. There are SO many decisions that go into finishing a basement, and I was honestly surprised by how easy they made the whole process. They helped us work through the layout, flooring, lighting, paint, bathroom finishes and all the little details without making it feel overwhelming. My favorite part is definitely the bathroom! It turned out even better than I pictured and really makes the basement feel like a finished extension of our home instead of just extra space downstairs. Everything came together beautifully, and we’re really happy with the finished basement. Definitely recommend Roots Basements if you’re looking for basement finishing in Salem, Spanish Fork, Payson or the surrounding Utah County area!

Good work isn’t cheap, and cheap work isn’t good, but Noah and his team deliver elite value from start to finish. In an industry where ghosting and cutting corners seem to be the norm, Noah sets the bar for what a real professional crew looks like. Their communication was dialed in every step of the way, and their attention to detail on the build is second to none. You can tell within five minutes of watching them work that they take immense pride in what they build. Stand-up guys, immaculate finish work, and total integrity throughout the entire process. If you’re finishing a basement or a remodel do yourself a favor and get on their schedule.

Noah and his team are awesome!

The team did a great job! I loved working with Noah he is a great communicator and his team as well. Shoutout to CodyLee as well!

Noah and his team worked quickly to make our unfinished basement into a beautiful two bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen and living space. They got us connected with Lowe’s to help design the kitchen area. They would pivot if I changed my thoughts on certain things. They installed all the items that we purchased like the appliances, sink, bathroom vanity, mirror and fans. They were able to match the carpet in the bedrooms perfectly to our upstairs carpet. The crew were all courteous and friendly. Noah listened to our needs, made sure he understood our wants and worked hard to make sure that we were satisfied. He is honest and would respond quickly to our requests.

Roots did a great job converting our empty basement into a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and great room living space. They were on time with their commitments and the price was right. Would highly recommend.
